One Piece is currently in its big Elbaf flashback, which finally began in the last chapter of the story. For quite a while now, fans have been waiting for this flashback to finally begin, and now, it's finally here. A lot of exciting things, such as Harald's early life and his late life experiences, as well as Loki's birth, along with much of his childhood, have finally started being showcased, and fans couldn't be more excited for it.

Surprisingly enough, the pace of the Loki flashback seems to be quite fast, at least for now, as seen in One Piece chapter 1153. With Harald's change finally beginning, and his two children finally being born, fans are in for a treat as the story proceeds.

One Piece chapter 1153 gave fans a good look at the early life of King Harald. Most fans were shocked by the fact that Harald was actually not all that noble when young, but this only enhances his character further. Just like his fellow Giant Warrior Pirates, Harald continued to raid places, but in a Kingdom when he saw a caged Giant, he acted. Harald successfully freed Ida, only to find out that she was friends with the humans all along and was actually trying to help them in her own way.

It is safe to say that Ida was the prime reason why Harald began to change with time. She taught him respect, humility, and most of all, opened his eyes to different races and cultures. Harald learned to connect with different cultures, as was evident in the chapter when he visited places like Wano, among others. Harald even primed his Giants to accept a major cultural shift, and open them to the rest of the world, all the while continuing to sail across the seas.
Loki And Hajrudin Are Born
Loki Was Born To Estrid, While Hajrudin Was Born To Ida
One Piece chapter 1153 covered Hajrudin and Loki's birth extensively. Hajrudin, being the older of the two, was born first and he's the child of Ida and Harald. Unfortunately, since Ida wasn't from Elbaf, she wasn't allowed to raise the child as the royal prince. Hajrudin was simply a bastard. But, when Harald married Estrid and had another child, the baby was widely proclaimed as the royal prince.
