One Piece chapter 1151 dropped recently, and it is safe to say that this week's chapter was mostly focused on buildup than anything else. While fans did get a glimpse of the current events on Elbaf, the vast majority of the chapter was focused on a flashback in the Underworld, where more light was thrown on the likes of Chopper, Gaban, Luffy, and the others.
One Piece: Oda Has Revealed The Biggest Power In The Series, And It's Not Haki Or Devil Fruit
Oda reveals a major power in the One Piece series, and it's neither devil fruit nor haki.
Finally, One Piece chapter 1151 did a brilliant job at setting up the climax phase of the arc, where all the big battles will finally start to break out.
Imu Continues To Turn Giants Into Demons
- Imu's Grasp On Elbaf Grows Even Stronger
- Elbaf's Situation Turns Dire
One Piece chapter 1151 was absolutely massive in many ways, and while the most important part of the chapter took place in the Underworld of Elbaf, fans also got to see some really exciting events unfold in the Sun Realm. After Imu turned Dorry and Brogy into demons, fans could see even more Giants being transformed one by one. It seems the number of demons keeps growing and will continue to grow over the course of the next few minutes. The goal is simply to kill Jarul and have Dorry and Brogy become Kings of Elbaf, and more importantly, break the spirits of the country so Imu can rule it. As such, they're currently heading towards the Eastern Village of Elbaf, where Jarul is currently located.

Chopper Saves Gaban
Chopper Used Guard Point To Rescue Gaban
The vast majority of One Piece chapter 1151 was set in the Underworld of the country in a flashback. Fans got to see Chopper play a major role by saving Gaban from his fall, and he accomplished this by using Guard Point. Furthermore, Chopper then went on to treat Gaban, and it was also around this time that Luffy and the others started sensing them. With Gaban rescued, those in the Underworld naturally started to wonder what was going on in the Sun Realm, and it was made clear that the country was in chaos, and that the children had been kidnapped.

Luffy and The Others Prepare To Head Back
Now is the time for Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates to prepare to leave and head into battle against Imu. Oda also made sure to once again highlight Imu's Haki in this chapter, and the power was so strong that even Luffy looked worried. That said, he's ready to confront the enemy now and wants to save Elbaf as soon as possible. Naturally, this won't be easy, but Luffy's reliable crew is with him, as are the New Giant Warrior Pirates.
Above all, it looks like Oda is going to use this opportunity to have Luffy free Loki, especially since they need help against Imu and his army. Loki will undoubtedly be freed in One Piece chapter 1152, and hopefully, the Straw Hats will head into battle against Imu and their army immediately after. Unfortunately, One Piece will be on break next week, which means that the next chapter of the story won't be dropping for two weeks.
One Piece Chapter 1152 will be out in two weeks. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on June 25. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1152 is June 25, 2025. Fans can read the chapter for free on Manga Plus.
