After nothing worked against the Holy Knights, Scopper Gaban showed up and used his incredible power to counter the immortality of the Holy Knights.

He dealt permanent damage to Saint Sommers, which means that now, things are calmer. Of course, calamity still awaits Elbaf, as the Holy Knights aren't done yet. Sommers is down, but Gunko and Killingham still exist. More than that, the 10 children hostages are there too. It will be difficult for Gaban to get things under control in One Piece chapter 1149, but it is highly likely that he will figure out a way to counter them all and save the day.

Gaban cutting off Sommers's hand means that Imu must've realized that someone who can counter the Holy Knights exists in Elbaf. In other words, One Piece chapter 1149 might ring panic bells in Marijoa and someone will head to Elbaf. This person might even be Imu themself. This is an idea that we strongly believe in, and sooner or later, Oda will reveal major secrets about Imu in Elbaf. Perhaps, One Piece chapter 1149 could be the beginning of it all.

One Piece chapter 1149 could also turn some attention to the Straw Hats, who Gaban might be freeing soon. More importantly, Luffy and his group might get some attention as well, especially if Ronja ends up falling and being saved by them in the Underworld. Things are looking more and more chaotic moving forward, and Elbaf is only getting better.

One Piece Chapter 1149 will be out in a week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
