Nico Robin's tough childhood made her mentally resilient. She has handled many difficult situations on her own, but the Holy Knights are something different. The warriors are in the service of the World Government, and they will do everything it takes to maintain the organization's integrity. Not only are they powerful, but they're also cruel and sadistic. So, Robin has her work cut out.

Robin's last major fight was in Wano, where she took on Black Maria, who was a Tobi Roppo. Robin knew that she could not beat Black Maria with ordinary moves. So, she came up with a new move to defeat Tobi Roppo.

Who Will Be Robin's Opponent In Elbaf?

Robin's opponent in Elbaf will likely be Sommers. He possesses the Iba Iba no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create thorny vines. Sommers used this power to subdue Jaguar D. Saul, who has had a big impact on Robin's life. For years, Robin believed that Saul was dead, but that changed in Egghead Island. After waiting for decades, Robin was reunited with Saul in Elbaf. Unfortunately, their reunion was cut short by Sommers. Saul tried his best to beat Sommers, but that wasn't enough. Robin could have helped him, but Saul ordered her to stay hidden.

Robin's Battle With Sommers Will Be Enthralling

However, Robin can no longer remain silent. She stayed away from Saul for a long time, so there is no way that she will let someone kill him before her eyes. However, Robin will need a power-up to deal with Sommers. The most likely upgrade will be Armament Haki. Robin's Devil Fruit is extremely powerful, and she could end up becoming a real menace if she unlocks Armament Haki. Robin has the ability to sprout all parts of her body, and if she coats them with Haki, even Sommers will have a torrid time dealing with her.

If Oda is feeling generous, then he could grant her a Devil Fruit Awakening. So far, only one member of the Straw Hat Pirates has awakened their Devil Fruit, and that is Luffy. Robin is one of the stronger crew members, and she certainly deserves a power-up. With the new skill, she can certainly cause problems for Sommers, but she cannot beat him alone.

Gaban is a veteran who has fought against some of the most well-known people in One Piece, so he won't back down from fighting the Holy Knights.

Gaban is rapid and has immense physical strength for a person of his age. Gaban can also use Armament and Observation Haki. He is particularly skilled at using Observation Haki. After all, he managed to detect the Holy Knights even though they were trying to conceal their presence. If Robin fights Sommers, then Gaban will handle Gunko. This match-up is going to be rather interesting, as it seems impossible to avoid attacks from Gunko's Aro Aro no Mi. Gaban's Observation Haki will definitely play a crucial role in the fight. The combination of Gaban and Robin won't be enough to beat two of the Holy Knights, so they will need some back-up.
