It's safe to say that One Piece Episode 1129 did not disappoint viewers. Toei Animation ensured that the sequences were connected and there were no noticeable gaps. Naturally, viewers were full of praise for the episode, and they will be hoping that the next episode keeps the momentum going.

Kuma's Flashback Shows His Past Struggles

Kuma's flashback started all the way back to the time when he was born in the Sorbet Kingdom 47 years ago. Things were going well for Kuma and his parents until one fateful day, the World Government agents found the doctor who had delivered the young Buccaneer. The agents went to Clapp's house and arrested the entire family, after which they were taken to Marijoa, where they became slaves to the Celestial Dragons.

If that wasn't bad enough, they were separated and taken by different Celestial Dragons. Since Kuma was young, his parents told him to stay strong and keep surviving at all costs. Unfortunately, Kuma lost his parents in quick succession. His mother died in captivity, while Clapp was shot by a Celestial Dragon because he made too much noise.

Despite being all alone, Kuma did his best to survive. But his luck seemed to run out when he was chosen to be the main attraction of the triennial Native Hunting Competition of the Celestial Dragons that was being held in God Valley. Before the Hunting Competition began, Kuma escaped only to be caught by other prisoners. Fortunately, a young Ivankov and Ginny appeared and stopped the slaves.

The Celestial Dragons were eager to participate in the Hunting Competition, but their joy soon turned to sorrow when the Rocks Pirates made landfall on God Valley. Led by their ferocious captain, the Rocks Pirates were the strongest crew of their time. They were ruthless and didn't stop until the job was done. The fate of the Rocks Pirates was already revealed by Sengoku. The Fleet Admiral confirmed that the crew lost to the alliance of the Roger Pirates and the Marines. It is implied that the Rocks Pirates had to contend with Saint. Figarland Garling and Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn. Considering how many strong people were fighting against the Rocks Pirates, it's hardly surprising that the crew suffered a crushing defeat.

Even though fans know the outcome of the fight, they are unaware of all the details, such as who was fighting for the Rocks Pirates. Thankfully, this question will be answered in the upcoming episode of One Piece. The preview for Episode 1130 had a couple of frames showing different members of the Rocks Pirates. The only one who was easily recognizable was Whitebeard (thanks to his iconic white beard). Unfortunately, viewers will have to wait for the new episode to find out who else had accompanied Rocks D. Xebec to the island.

As previously stated, the upcoming episode of One Piece will reveal new members of the Rocks Pirates, and this could be a massive moment in the series as it will help fans learn more about the crew. It has already been confirmed that Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, Silver Axe, Captain John, Shiki, and Wang Zhi were part of the crew. The Rocks Pirates didn't get along well, but they fought together under the same flag because of their captain.

Hopefully, the flashback will provide more information about the crew and how they were beaten. It would be remiss not to mention that One Piece Episode 1130 will primarily be focused on Bartholomew Kuma, and the anime will only cover the events relevant to Kuma. So, it's unlikely that it will disclose all the details about the God Valley Incident.
