Legendary One Piece Director Praises Luffy's Gear 5

Recently, Vincent Chansard, one of the most talented animators in the world, talked about Luffy and Gear 5. He lauded Oda's idea to introduce such an outstanding power. Vincent Chansard went on to explain how Gear 5th is every animator's dream. He also stated that all animators want to work on Gear 5th because the possibilities are endless.

Vincent Chansard's comments prove that Luffy's Gear 5th is unique in comparison to other anime transformations. Luffy's movements in Gear 5th are highly eccentric, so the animators can draw them however they want to. Currently, the anime is in the Egghead arc, and it is far from over. Therefore, the animators will get more opportunities to work on Gear 5th.
