Ever since One Piece entered the final saga, fans have been bombarded with multiple revelations about the previously hidden mysteries. This is a big sign that One Piece is truly heading toward its conclusion. One of the biggest shocks in the series was the abolition of the Shichibukai system.
It was teased several times that the Shichibukai system would not last for long. Eventually, the news about its dissolution was confirmed in the Wano Country arc. The main reason why the World Government created the Shichibukai system was to keep the powers of the Yonko in check. Thanks to the efforts of the SSG, they got their hands on the Seraphim, which they consider a much more effective way of dealing with criminals. The World Government believes that the Seraphim can replace the Shichibukai, and their feats back up their claims. So far, four Seraphim have been revealed, but do all of them have the same power?
How Are The Seraphim Created?
Before starting with the ranking, it is important to go over the process involved in the creation of the Seraphim. According to Dr. Vegapunk, these beings are the epitome of what his mind can accomplish. The World Government invested an enormous amount of money into the Seraphim project, which is why even assassins like Lucci and Kaku are careful not to hurt them. In order to create the Seraphim, Vegapunk used the Lineage Factor of the Shichibukai. Then he modified it to include Lunarian traits, making them extra durable. The Seraphim have to undergo a further growth process. To finish things off, their bodies are infused with a substance called Green Blood.
4 S-Shark
S-Shark made its debut in the Egghead Island arc. The Seraphim resembles Jimbei when he was young, but he is the same size as an adult Jimbei. When the Straw Hats encountered him, S-Shark was seen sitting down, and the machine behind him had an indicator that read 98%. This implies that S-Shark was not fully finished. Regardless of his completion, S-Shark is extremely dangerous.
He managed to overwhelm Nami and Usopp with little to no effort. S-Shark even tanked attacks from Sanji and Robin without any problems. Dr. Vegapunk gave S-Shark the power of the Sui Sui no Mi, which the scientist cloned from Senor Pink. With the help of his devil fruit, S-Shark can move through surfaces quickly. Furthermore, he uses the liquified ground created by the devil fruit to perform Fish-Man Karate. While it may be super strong, due to being incomplete, S-Shark finds himself at the bottom of the list.
3 S-Bear
S-Bear was introduced when CP0 was given the task of exterminating all six of Vegapunk's satellites. He resembles a young Bartholomew Kuma, but he has several Lunarian traits, which include long white hair, dark skin, and black wings.
S-Bear possesses the artificial Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, which was created by Dr. Vegapunk. He was seen using the powers of this devil fruit while fighting members of CP0. S-Bear can also use the devil fruit's power to send other people to a different location. Aside from his devil fruit, S-Bear also has the ability to shoot lasers that can cause large-scale destruction. It will be interesting to see whether Bartholomew Kuma's Lineage Factor adds any other abilities to the Seraphim.
2 S-Snake
S-Snake is the only Seraphim that has shown any kind of emotion so far. When Jimbei complimented her kindness, she couldn't help but blush. S-Snake was sent to Amazon Lily along with S-Hawk in order to capture Boa Hancock. S-Snake caused a great deal of destruction, and none of the attacks from the Kuja Pirates or the Blackbeard Pirates seemed to have any kind of effect on her.
Due to her Lunarian traits, S-Snake is immensely resilient, and she can withstand a great deal of damage. She is also able to shoot lasers and manipulate fire. In addition to all these abilities, S-Snake also has the power of the Mero Mero no Mi. She used this ability against the members of CP0 at Egghead Island. While she is a cyborg, it seems her devil fruit works on the same principle as Boa Hancock. The soldiers that she petrified had hearts coming out of their eyes, which backs up the claim. The combination of all these abilities makes S-Snake a formidable opponent.
1 S-Hawk
S-Hawk finishes at the top purely because he's been modeled after Mihawk, who was the strongest Shichibukai. It is plausible to assume that the Seraphim might have minor differences, that make one better than the other, and since Mihawk was at the top of his organization, S-Hawk is expected to have the same status. S-Hawk was revealed when he was taken to Amazon Lily by Koby to capture Boa Hancock. As his Lineage Factor has been taken from Mihawk, S-Hawk resembles the former Shichibukai. S-Hawk is also an apt swordsman, just like Mihawk.
With his swordsmanship, S-Hawk was able to slice off a large portion of the mountain on Amazon Lily. S-Hawk clashed against the Blackbeard Pirates, and he was able to overwhelm most of them rather easily. He even attacked Blackbeard and forced the Yonko into using Busoshoku Haki to defend himself. Despite being involved in a large-scale conflict on Amazon Lily, S-Hawk emerged with no visible wounds. It is current unknown whether S-Hawk possesses a devil fruit or not. However, given that S-Shark was given one as well, Dr. Vegapunk probably did clone another artificial devil fruit for S-Hawk.
