First and foremost, you must understand that Adhesive is a disassembled item, and you can find it by exploring the wilderness for scraps to disassemble. When you disassemble scrap, you will break it down into core materials, like Adhesive. You can only disassemble scrap via the Disassembly Bench. You can find scrap that can be disassembled for Adhesive in containers, from enemies you eliminate, or out in the wild. Once you find scrap, use the Disassembly Bench to get Adhesive.

Here are some items that can be disassembled for Adhesive:

Old Clothing
Alarm Clock
Kettle
Jacket
Football
Paint Brush

Coarse Body

If you do not have a Disassembly Bench, here is what you need to do to build one:

Unlock the Disassembly Technique Memetic in the Infrastructure menu.
Access the Build menu > Facilities > Production Process.
Build the Disassembly Bench and add scrap items to start disassembling scrap for items you need.

You will need 20x Gravel and 10x Copper Ingot to build a Disassembly Bench.

When you add scrap to the Disassembly Bench, you will see a preview of the items you will acquire after disassembling it.
