Among the many Deviants in Once Human, the Atomic Snail is one of the rarest and hardest to find. Players won't be able to see it floating around in a bubble in the world, and it doesn't appear as loot from enemies either.

Getting the Atomic Snail requires a lot of luck and patience. However, much like Frog the Leaper in Once Human, having one of these in your base can greatly expand your options when it comes to exploration. Here's where to find this Deviant.

Where To Find The Atomic Snail In Once Human

The Atomic Snail is a rare Deviant that can only be obtained by opening Stardust's Advent III crates, which players can get by securing a high score during a Prime War. On Easy difficulty, players only need to get 800 points to get these crates. As you increase the difficulty, the score threshold increases by 200 points.

Prime Wars are server-wide public events in Once Human that anyone can join at any time, assuming they're already unlocked as of the current seasonal phase. Here, players need to defend a device from an onslaught of enemies, including a large field boss equipped with a shield that can only be damaged by explosives. To earn Prime War rewards, players need to earn points by defeating enemies, damaging the boss, healing allies, and building defenses.

Once you hit the score cap in a Prime War, you'll receive three Stardust Advent crates. If you open the gold ones with a Controller, you have a chance to get either the Atomic Snail or the By-The-Wind Deviant. The drop chances for either of these seem to be quite low, so expect to do a lot of Prime Wars if you're planning on getting the snail.

During Prime Wars, you can get extra points for free by injuring yourself via fall damage or explosives. Heal back enough health, and your score will go up. Do this before the boss spawns.

What Does The Atomic Snail Do?

The Atomic Snail's Aero Leap potion in Once Human
Once Human Atomic Snail Aero Leap

The Atomic Snail is a Crafting-type Deviant that provides Tunneling Fluid, a unique resource used for making Aero Leap Whim Potions. When used, Aero Leap gives players the ability to perform a short-ranged air dash by pressing the Roll button while in mid-air.

Aero Leap is very useful for exploring large Once Human Strongholds like Gaia Cliff Monolith and the majority of Rosetta bases. The range on the air dash itself isn't particularly long, but when combined with the Spring Legs potion and Double Jump from Stardust Energy Drinks, players will be able to scale high walls and leap across large gaps with ease. It's also quite good at catching PVP opponents off guard, as you can air dash toward any direction based on your movement inputs.
