Once Human allows you to build your own territory that functions as a safe space to rest, store items, and craft equipment. As you progress in the game, you can unlock upgrades to expand your base and build more structures and facilities around it. Over time, you’ll be tasked with a mission that requires you to “purify your territory.”

While it seems pretty easy, there are no clear instructions on how to accomplish this task. To help you out, this guide covers detailed instructions on how to purify your base in Once Human.

How To Purify Your Base In Once Human

Base Purification in Once Human

To purify your base, you simply need to place a Stardust Resonant Filter in your territory and then defend it against enemy attacks for a set duration. You will need to collect the following materials to build a Stardust Resonant Filter:

After you’ve gathered the necessary resources, simply go to Facilities > Function Facility and select the Stardust Resonant Filter to place it in an open space within your territory. Make sure to set it up as far away from the Territory Core as possible.

Once you've built the Stardust Resonant Filter, activate it by pressing F. To start the purification process, you'll need to insert at least one Eclipse Cortex Stone into the Stardust Resonant Filter.

The Eclipse Cortex is a rare, purple stone that you can get by completing dungeons and events. These stones have different levels, Level 1, 2, or 3, which determine the difficulty of the purification process. Higher-level stones will result in stronger monsters, more enemy waves, and more Elite enemies.

There is a Weekly Purification Limit of 40 Eclipse Cortices, so plan accordingly. You can also use a Chaotic Cortex Stone in the Stardust Resonant Filter. These stones put your territory in a “Chaotic State” that opens you up to PvP combat.

Once everything is set up, click on the Start Purify button in the lower right corner of the filter’s menu to begin the purification process. A timer will start, and waves of enemies will attack your base. You must defend the filter until the timer runs out.

You can build turrets, traps, and other defensive facilities to protect your base. Alternatively, you can put Sandbags around the filter to make it harder to reach.

Once the timer ends, and you've successfully defended your base, the purification process is complete. You'll receive Starchrom as a reward and complete any purification-related objectives.
