Once Human: How To Complete Incendiary Blast Seasonal Challenges

Incendiary Blast may seem fancy, but it's actually a lot simpler than it sounds. Here's how to complete this challenge in Once Human.

How to Catch Pup Buddy in Once Human

Before diving into the whereabouts of this Deviant, it is important to note that the Pup Buddy is not a guaranteed drop, so even if you follow the instructions correctly, you’re not necessarily going to get one.

When it comes to acquiring the Pup Buddy, there’s only one task to complete: taking down the ‘floating zombies.’ While you can use any weapon to get the job done, many players have had success in getting a Pup Buddy after using a melee weapon on these floating enemies.

A lot of players have had more success finding the Pup Buddy on a PvP server rather than a PvE one. While there were speculations that this Deviant is PvP exclusive, it has also been found on PvE servers. Nevertheless, a PvP server is recommended due to the abundance of spotting locations and the higher success-in-catching ratio.

The Pup Buddy Deviant Location

The Pup Buddy is present in multiple locations throughout the map. Players have frequently found this Deviant in the Blackfell Fallen Zone [with coordinates (4320, -1320)] and the Blackfell Oil Fields [with coordinates (5583, -1281)]. Apart from these two locations, you can also find the Deviant by taking down floating zombies in Evergreen.

If you can’t get the Pup Buddy Deviant at either of these locations, try changing worlds using a Teleport Tower or wait a few hours before trying again.

How to Use the Pup Buddy Deviant in Once Human

As mentioned above, a Pup Buddy can significantly reduce the overall load of your equipment. This is done with a consumable called Featherweight that can be crafted with the help of Small Balloons on any Supplies Workbench. Small Balloons are produced by the Pup Buddy Deviant.

Once you've secured the Pup Buddy, place it in an Isolated Securement Unit to start the production process. You can also increase its efficiency by using mood boosters, including placing toys around it, playing music, or keeping it under a green light.
