In addition to balancing your hunger, thirst, and sanity levels in Once Human, you need to be prepared to tackle mutated creatures, as well as other hostile survivors. Whether you play in PvE or PvP mode, marking enemies would make them easier to target and track. You can use this to your advantage by focusing on enemies that pose the greatest threat. Read on to learn how to mark enemies in Once Human.

How To Mark Enemies In Once Human
Interestingly, there are two different ways you can mark enemies in Once Human.
Weapons
The first way to mark enemies in Once Human is to use specific weapons that have a built-in marking ability. These weapons are typically identified by the "The Bull's Eye" effect listed in their Blueprint description. A few examples are:
- AWS. 338 – Bullseye
- DE.50 Wildfire
- Old Huntsman
- Recurve Crossbow B.P.
You can purchase these weapons from the Wish Machine Blueprint Shop using Starchrom or get them as a random drop from late-game Weapon and Mystical crates.
To mark an enemy, just use your Bull’s Eye Weapon to shoot them. If you hit their weakspot, the enemy will start glowing blue, exposing their location even through walls. Some weapons may also provide a temporary damage boost after marking a target.
Deviants
Apart from weapons, some combat Deviants, like the Mini Feaster and Mr. Wish in Once Human, can also mark enemies in Once Human. When activated, these Deviants mark all enemies nearby you, making them easier to spot and kill.
You can pair Mr. Wish with a Bull’s Eye weapon and the Fortress weapon perk to increase your chances of marking enemies, getting bonus damage, and dominating the battlefield.
Best Build For Marking Enemies in Once Human
The Bull's Eye Build is a sniper-focused build that leverages the Bull's Eye effect. By marking targets, this effect outlines them and makes them more vulnerable for 12 seconds. This build capitalizes on weakspot hits, making sure that every shot delivers maximum damage.
You can get +20% more damage against enemies marked with the Bull's Eye effect if you consume a Mixed Fried Hot Dog.
While you can experiment with different combinations of weapons and gear, this is perhaps the best build for marking enemies:
| Slot | Item |
|---|---|
| Primary Weapon | AWS.338 - Bullseye |
| Secondary Weapon | SOCR - Last Valor or SOCR - Outsider |
| Helmet | Agent Helmet |
| Face | Agent Mask |
| Gloves | Renegade Gloves or Lonewolf Gloves |
| Top | Agent Top |
| Bottoms | Agent Pants |
| Shoes | Seasoned Hunter Leather Boots |
