Deviations are useful critters in Once Human that can help players with various in-game tasks, such as expanding their Territory. While some of the most helpful Deviations, like Digby Boy, fall under the category of Territory Deviations, Combat Deviations are also pretty neat in their ability to assist players in combat situations.
There are a wide variety of different Combat Deviations that players can acquire in Once Human, each with varying levels of abilities. Some players may be content with sticking to the Butterfly's Emissary, while others may opt for a rarer Deviation like
Mr. Wish. However, one Combat Deviation that players can acquire pretty early on can be a great fit for many. Here is how to get the
Zeno-Purifier Deviation in Once Human.
Once Human: How To Beat Ravenous Hunter
Having trouble beating the Ravenous Hunter at the Monolith of Greed in Once Human? Here is a guide on how to defeat it!
How To Get The Zeno-Purifier Deviation
Of Mist and Mirage Seasonal Goal Challenge
The first and most surefire way for players to acquire the Zeno-Purifier Deviation is by completing one of the challenges in the "Of Mist and Mirage" seasonal phase. This challenge tasks players with defeating a total of 200 enemies with a melee weapon, which many players may have done passively without even realizing it. Once players have defeated 200 enemies with a melee weapon, they can claim both the Zeno-Purifier Deviation and 30 Mitsuko's Mark by doing the following:
- Press ESC and head to the "Manibus (Novice)" seasonal scenario.
- Go to the Seasonal Goals tab and click on the "Of Mist and Mirage" seasonal phase.
- Navigate to the Challenges tab.
- Select "Claim" next to the "use a melee weapon to defeat 200 enemies" challenge.
While this method does guarantee the Zero Purifier, players can only obtain the base variant upon doing so, one which has both a Skill Rating and Activity Rating of 1 and no Deviation Traits.
The "Of Mist and Mirage" seasonal phase will only be available during the "Manibus (Novice)" season, meaning that players will be unable to acquire the Zeno-Purifier Deviation via this method in future seasons.
Once Human: 6 Best Assault Rifles, Ranked
Assault rifles are a solid ranged weapon in Once Human, dealing damage at medium range and causing frequent status effects with their high fire rate.
Stronghold Weapon Crates
The second and least surefire way for players to acquire the Zeno-Purifier Deviation is by finding it randomly in Weapon Crates. Weapon Crates can be found in Strongholds, areas of the map that players can clear either to activate Rift Anchor points or to simply scavenge for loot. Unfortunately, there is no specific Weapon Crate location that guarantees the Zeno-Purifier Deviation, so players will need to loot as many Weapon Crates as they can to increase their chances of finding it.
Unlike the previous method, players can obtain a higher level Zeno-Purifier this way, one which can sport a higher Skill and Activity Rating along with Deviation Traits.
Weapon Crates will reset some time after being opened, so players can revisit and open the same Weapon Crates again even after clearing a Stronghold.
How To Use The Zeno-Purifier Deviation In Once Human
The Zeno-Purifier is a Combat Deviation that players can take with them on their adventure to help them out in combat. To make use of the Zeno-Purifier, players will need to place it into an Isolation Securement Unit and then sync it to their Cradle. Once done, players can summon the Deviation by holding "E" and selecting one of two options: "Designated Target" or "Auto Attack." Either will summon the Deviation, where it will teleport to unsuspecting targets and cut them down with its Katana.
