How to Unlock a Vending Machine

A Vending Machine can provide a substantial advantage as it allows you to sell items to other players. To unlock the vending machine, first, access the Memetics menu and open the Logistics tab. Locate the vending machine technology and unlock it for 700 Energy Links and five Ciphers.

Energy Links can be acquired by completing commissions, quests, or opening chests.

How to Craft a Vending Machine

Once you have unlocked the memetic, you can now build it within your base. To start the process, press B to enter build mode, then right-click to go into the build menu and head to the Facilities tab. Within the Function Facility tab, you will find the Vending Machine.

Do keep in mind that the Vending Machine requires 2 watts of power. So make sure to connect it to a power source using wires.

How to Use a Vending Machine

After the vending machine is built, interact with it by pressing F to open the menu. On the left side of the display, you will find all items present within your inventory, and the Vending Machine’s shelves on the right, where you can place items to sell.

To use the machine, select any item that you want to sell, choose the desired quantity, and set the price. Here, you have the option to select between Item Exchange (exchange your item for another one) or Energy Links (setting a price in currency). Once you are done with pricing, select Put Up For Sale or click F to add that item to the vending machine’s shelves.

How to Attract Customers to the Vending Machine

To make the most out of your Vending Machine, you will need to attract customers. This can only be done through proper advertising. To advertise your machine, select the gear icon right next to Enter Advertisement. This will allow you to write an attractive slogan for your vending machine.

You can use up to 30 characters to write a slogan to attract customers, so make sure to write a catchy and promising one to attract more customers. Once you are done with your slogan, publish it, so people can see your machine on the game map.
