How to Unlock Storage Batteries

Like many other tools and devices in Once Human, the Storage Batteries are also unlocked through Memetics. To locate them, you must progress fairly down the list in the Logistics Tab. Hover down to the third row, known as Ascendance. Once there, you’ll be able to find an item titled Electrical Kit, on the left-hand side.

This device can be unlocked by utilizing five Ciphers. Once unlocked, you’ll be able to see the Storage Batteries as yet another item to craft in your Crafting Stations.

How to Craft Storage Batteries

Now that you’ve unlocked the Storage Batteries through the Memetics, it is time to move forward with crafting them. Here is a list of resources you’ll need to begin the crafting process:

15x Steel Ingot
20x Rubber
20x Acid
10x Electronic Parts

Steel Ingots are crafted by processing Iron Ores and Charcoal in a Furnace or Electric Furnace. Iron Ores can be found in multiple locations, like the Iron River and the Highlands. On the other hand, Rubber is obtained by disassembling various items in the Disassembly Bench.

Acid is another valuable item and can be obtained by three different methods as mentioned below:

Using the Osmosis Water Purifier
Slaying Zombies. A key thing to note here is that the acid you accumulate during the process depends on the level of zombies you kill, the higher the level, the more acid you will get.
Using the Vending Machines in Blackfell. The Vending Machines in Blackfell grant you two options: exchange items to obtain acid or buy them using Energy Points.

Blackfell and Shadow Hound are good places to obtain Electronic Parts.

Needless to say, the last two items required to craft Storage Batteries in Once Human are tricky and require grinding. However, it goes without saying that the benefits you will reap in your journey will be worthwhile. Once crafted, it'll be available in your inventory, and you'll now be able to use it to craft a Logging Chainsaw and other appliances.
