Here are some ways of getting your hands on Peppercorns in Once Human:

Looting Multiple Locations on the Map

The most straightforward way of finding Peppercorns is to explore different areas and loot Storage Crates. However, there’s no guarantee you’ll locate this item in any specific location. If you prefer a slower pace, and want to enjoy each experience that the game offers, this method wouldn’t be a bad idea.

You can also find Peppercorn Seeds in Storage Crates or Cabinets.

Purchasing Peppercorn Plants From Lacey

Unlike the previous method, this one is straightforward, reliable, and nearly effortless. However, you’ll have to spend your in-game currency called Energy Links. To purchase Peppercorns, follow the steps mentioned below.

Travel to the Blackfell Encampment in Red Sands, but be cautious, as it is a high level region. Ensure you equip yourself with the right weapons and armor before heading there.
Interact with a vendor named Lacey. She sells plenty of resources in exchange for Energy Links.
You can either choose to buy Peppercorn or Peppercorn seeds from her. Just click on the desired item and confirm your purchase.

There’s a limit to the amount of Peppercorn Plants you can buy from Lacey (three, in particular). Their price would be 50 Energy Links per Peppercorn.

Farming Peppercorn Plants Yourself

Since Peppercorns are an important resource in Once Human, it won't be a bad idea to stockpile them. You can purchase the Peppercorn Seeds from the same merchant, Lacey. You know her whereabouts, all you have to do now is interact with her to purchase the seeds.

Each Peppercorn Seed will cost you 1000 Energy Links but there’s a limited stock you can buy each week. You can obtain Energy Links by completing Quests, Commissions and selling items from your inventory.

Once you've bought the Peppercorn Seeds, you can start planting them with the help of Planter Boxes or Loamy Soil. Before expecting to harvest Peppercorn Plants, you must handle them with care. Water them regularly and add fertilizers if you want to boost their growth. Once they start growing, you can harvest the Peppercorn Plants.
