As players expand their territory and explore the vast world of Once Human, they may encounter a variety of colorful critters known as Deviations. These friendly creatures are invaluable assets, each offering a range of benefits. While some Deviations are particularly useful for tasks around the territory, others are better suited for fighting alongside the player.

One of the many Combat Deviations players can acquire in Once Human is the Mini Feaster. This tentacle-summoning Deviation is a powerful ally in combat, making it a valuable addition to any player's collection. Although the Mini Feaster can be challenging to obtain, it can be acquired relatively early through one of two strategies.

How To Get The Mini Feaster Deviation In Once Human

Lord Of The Fog Side Task

The first and most surefire way for players to obtain the Mini Feaster Deviation is by completing the "Lord of the Fog" side task. To begin this task, players must visit Lowe at Meyer's Market and ask him about the Deviation at Hearst Mudflats. After exhausting all his dialogue, players will be tasked with heading to the Hearst Mudflats (map coordinates: 6464, -6457) in search of the Mini Feaster.

Upon arriving at the Hearst Mudflats, players will encounter an anomaly in the area. After investigating it, a large fog will roll into the player's location, and they can then progress toward the harbor.

Here, they must search for two power generation units to disperse the fog while avoiding the sight of a large Watcher. The two power generators are located in separate warehouses, with their locations displayed on screen for players to track.

Once both power generators are activated, the fog will clear, revealing the Mini Feaster along the harbor near the Watcher's location. Players can approach the Mini Feaster and press "F" to secure it. After obtaining the Mini Feaster, players can then return to Lowe to wrap up the rest of the task.

Breaching & Clearing Mist Zones

The second way to acquire the Mini Feaster Deviation is through clearing Mist Zones. Mist Zones are one of the many public events that spawn in random areas of the map, each marked by a large purple beacon.

To breach a Mist Zone, players can simply head to its center. Upon doing so, players will then be tasked with defeating waves of hostile Deviants. Successfully clearing each wave will spawn in a loot crate at the center of the Mist Zone, one that will provide players a chance to acquire the Mini Feaster Deviation, along with other rewards such as Acid and Vanadium Crystals.

How To Use The Mini Feaster Deviation In Once Human

The Mini Feaster is a Combat Deviation that players can summon to assist in battles against hostile entities. To use the Mini Feaster, players must place it into an Isolated Securement Unit. Once that's done, they can sync the Deviation to their Cradle and summon it by holding "E" and selecting one of two options: "Designated Target" or "Touch of the Abyss."

The first option is designed for targeting a single enemy, while the second causes the Mini Feaster to follow the player, summoning a tentacle attack near surrounding enemies every five seconds. The "Touch of the Abyss" option also boosts the player's weapon damage by 21% with each tentacle summoned, stacking up to a total of 84%.
