Monster Hunter Now has been out for a couple of weeks now, and while the gameplay elements are a bit on the lighter side compared to a full-blown Monster Hunter game, developer Niantic plans to roll out more content as time goes on, as well as monthly events to keep payers coming back to the hunt. And speaking of events, the team has confirmed the upcoming events for the spooky month of October.

There are three events going on in Monster Hunter Now in October --the first one is a Tobi-Kadachi weekend that kicks off on Friday, October 6 and ends on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Each day of the event will spawn more Tobi-Kadachi in the wild, but only during certain times:

  • Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm.
  • Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm.
  • Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm.

For those who are interested in crafting and equipping the Kadachi armor set in Monster Hunter Now, these are the Equipment Skills that it comes with:

  • Reload Speed
  • Artful Dodger
  • Evade Extender
  • Thunder Attack
  • Thunder Resistance

Rathian and Pink Rathian Week

Monster Hunter World: 7 Hardest Monsters in the Game - pink rathian

Only the regular Rathian has made an appearance in Monster Hunter Now, but now, players can encounter a Pink Rathian for the first time. Both Monsters will spawn more often from Monday, October 9, until Friday, October 13, at 5 p.m.

However, hunters that have reached HR11 can find increased spawns for both monsters during the times listed below:

  • Friday, October 13, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m.

Players that have completed Chapter 9 can find Pink Rathian in the Forest Habitats.

Halloween Pumpkin Hunt

Niantic didn't share much information regarding this October event, but the Pumpkin Hunt will start on October 25 and end on October 31. There will be some spooky, Halloween-themed changes made to the world map and some Halloween equipment to craft and equip.

Finally, there will be some mysterious change to Kulu-Ya-Ku (We suspect it will be holding a pumpkin instead of its traditional boulder).

Monster Hunter Now is available for mobile devices.
