Wordle is back today with yet another challenging five-letter word for fans to guess. Everyone who tries will need to figure out this word in just six guesses with no starting clues to help them out.

How To Play Wordle

Wordle went viral back in early 2022; it seemed like everyone, from celebrities to sports teams to even the Vice President of the USA, was playing Wordle. In spite of how massively popular it was and still is, some puzzle fans have yet to try it out. Here are the rules of how to play for anyone who has yet to learn.

In order to play, head to the right site. Players can only play Wordle on the New York Times site or Crossword app. All other versions are copycats and might have different answers and rules.
Choose one of the best starting words for Wordle. This word must be five letters and a real English word. It cannot be a proper noun. Answers to puzzles will never be plural nouns ending in S or offensive words.
Once a good starting word is chosen, type it into the website and press enter.
The letters will then change colors, giving players some clues to the answer of the day.
Letters that turn green are right.
If they turn gray, they are wrong.
Yellow letters are right but in the wrong place in the word.
Using these clues, keep trying new words and getting new clues.
Players have a total of six tries to get to the word of the day before they lose.
Puzzles reset daily at midnight local time.
