While exploring the vast world of Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, players will encounter Oblivion Gates that will lead to a whole different world. The only way to close these gates is by exploring the hellish world and locating the Sigil Stone, which is usually at the top of a tower.
Every Oblivion Gate is different from the other, and some might spawn in random locations rather than the same fixed location for all players in Oblivion Remastered. You will encounter many types of enemies inside the gate, so make sure to wear proper armor and equip the best weapon/spells you own to easily deal with the horrors inside. One of the Oblivion Gates players must close is called Portals of Natural Disaster in Oblivion Remastered.

Players must help a prisoner escape Skingrad castle to complete the Lost Histories quest in Oblivion Remastered.
How To Enter The Portals Of Natural Disaster In Oblivion Remastered
Upon entering the Oblivion Gate in Oblivion Remastered, you will see six towers surrounding one huge tower, which is where the Sigil Stone is most likely located. Each tower represents a natural disaster, and the middle tower is the link that will take you to all of them. To close the Portals of Natural Disaster Oblivion Gate, you need to access one of these towers:
- Hurricane
- Earthquake
Hurricane and Earthquake towers are the only ones connected to the higher level of the main tower, where players can find the Sigil Stone. However, since these two towers are blocked by gates, players must visit the following towers and pull the lever:
- Tsunami
- Eruption
- Landslide
- Tornado
After gaining access to the Portals of Natural Disaster tower and both the Hurricane and Earthquake towers, you can easily close the Oblivion Gate. There are many methods to close the Portals of Natural Disaster Oblivion Gate in Oblivion Remastered, and here is one of them.
How To Open The Natural Disaster Gates In Oblivion Remastered
To open the Natural Disaster gates in Oblivion Remastered, you must pull the lever in all four available towers (Tsunami, Eruption, Landslide, Tornado).
The quickest method is through the Eruption or Tsunami's tower entrance in Oblivion Remastered as they're near the Oblivion Gate. If you prefer to explore the area first, then go around the area to find the Landslide or Tornado gates after you're done.
All the Natural Disaster towers have the same layout. Use the Corpse Masher as an elevator to go up, but be careful as you might take damage. Climb the slope and pull the lever to open the gate corresponding to the tower you're in, and then head out through the door leading to the Wastes of Oblivion. Cross the bridge to reach the Portals of Natural Disaster tower.
Enter all the gates in this room to reach the top of the rest of the towers and open the gate. Once the Hero is in the final tower, head down to the lowest level and exit into the Waste of Oblivion. Now that all the gates are open, you can enter the Hurricane tower located east of the main tower in Oblivion Remastered, or the Earthquake tower found west of it.
Oblivion Remastered: Misdirection Quest Guide
The Misdirection side quest requires a lot of sneaking around to help Gray Fox in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
How To Close The Portals Of Natural Disaster Oblivion Gate In Oblivion Remastered
Climb to the top and exit into the Wastes of Oblivion, cross the bridge, and enter the main tower. Head to Rending Halls and defeat the enemies. Proceed south to the Citadel Hall Door and climb the slope to find an enemy. Continue exploring, but be careful of the blade traps, and eventually you will reach the Portals of Natural Disaster. Go up the slope to the right and enter the Corridors of Dark Salvation. Keep going until you find the Sigillum Sanguis door.
Go up the slope and look north to find a path leading to the heart of the tower. Climb to the top while fighting the enemies until you find the Sigil Stone in Oblivion Remastered. Take it to close the Portals Of Natural Disaster Oblivion Gate.
