Nostalgic gamers and those who never played the original alike flocked to Bethesda's open world epic to adventure around Cyrodiil.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, like many Bethesda games, has a main quest that can effectively be ignored. In fact, players are only required to engage with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered's main quest during the tutorial section in the sewer. Once they make it to the open world, they can do whatever they want. It seems the vast majority of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered players are indeed ignoring the game's main quest, as it has an abysmally low completion rate.
