Oblivion Remastered Player Sits Down at the Exact Wrong Time

An unlucky Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered player takes a seat at the worst possible time, setting themselves up for a sudden and gruesome end.

In a recent post on Reddit, iKorvin pointed out that players have the ability to cast Cure Disease on beggars in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, which will actually help them and change the way they look. The player shared two images side by side, with one showing a man who looked pale, gaunt, and incredibly unwell. The next picture showed that same man sporting a healthy new look, with his normal skin tone and vibrancy renewed. Apparently, the beggars of Cyrodiil look very sick because they actually are, which many found to be an interesting detail put in the game by Bethesda.

Oblivion Remastered Players Can Cure Beggars

iKorvin also mentioned that curing the beggars doesn't really yield any reward for the player outside of doing something nice. The beggars won't mention the kind act, and it doesn't appear to change anything about their circumstances, but they do appear to be in better health. Gamers looking to follow in the path of iKorvin won't be able to simply give the beggars a potion of Cure Disease in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. Instead, they will need to use Restoration magic as a touch or target spell, allowing them to heal the beggar immediately. Many players seemed pleasantly surprised by the small detail and even mentioned that it could make for a great role-playing experience.

Numerous gamers have expressed excitement about the level of immersion in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, as the NPCs all seem to have their own routines and lives. Players can follow NPCs around, track their movements, and discover a wide variety of secrets. All the little details sprinkled throughout the world allow gamers to feel as if they're truly living within its fantasy setting. With a whole fresh world to explore, many fans are enjoying their time with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.
