Oblivion Remastered offers players various types of weapons. In addition to different stats, they can have enchantments that give special effects and bring even more fun to the combat system. Grand Soul Gems in Oblivion Remastered

Grand Soul Gems are comparable in power to Black Soul Gems. Despite this, they are much easier to find than the latter. Like other loot, they can drop from enemies or spawn in chests around the world. However, you need to reach a fairly high level to do this.

Luckily, you don't necessarily need to wait until you reach a high level and hope for RNG. Some locations in Oblivion Remastered are guaranteed to contain one or even several Grand Soul Gems. But it is worth noting that some of them are locked with a hard lock or are located behind a bunch of enemies.

Guaranteed Grand Soul Gem Locations

  • Chorrol Mages Guild: Inside, you will find two display cases with two and three Grand Soul Gems, respectively. The case on the main floor has a very hard lock.
  • Squandered Mine: One Grand Soul Gem on the lower level.
  • Drakelowe: One Grand Soul Gem in the basement.
  • Arcane University: You will find one Gem in the Mage's Quarters, as well as three more in the Arch-Mage's Lobby.
  • Nornal: One Gem lies in the ruins.
  • Crayfish Cave: Players will find another Grand Soul Gem here.

Unlike the previous ones, these locations have a chance to spawn the coveted Grand Soul Gems in Oblivion Remastered. This is especially true for vendors, whose stock may change from time to time.

  • Mages Guild Halls: Many vendors in this location can sell the coveted Grand Soul Gems.
  • Imperial City Market District: Check the Calindil or Aurelinwae stock.
  • Ayelid Ruins: Check all the chests in these ruins to find Grand Soul Gems.
  • Sins Of The Father Quest: During this quest, players can find Grand Soul Gems.
