Despite being shadow dropped on April 22, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has become the third bestselling title of 2025, trailing behind hit games like Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin's Creed Shadows. It's an impressive milestone, especially considering that Bethesda didn't really market or advertise the game prior to its surprise launch. The RPG is also available on Game Pass for both PC and Xbox, which doesn't count toward overall sales.

The image they posted showed their character with an inventory full of Daedric Warhammers, a Daedric Claymore, and more. With such a heavy amount of equipment, it's likely there were plenty of items in their inventory that weren't shown in the image. Perhaps the most impressive part of the entire haul is that the player wasn't even over-encumbered, as their character was shown to have a carrying capacity of 2,638 pounds.

While many players were amused by the fact that xboxiscrunchy likely cleared out the entire Oblivion Gate and didn't spare a single enemy, numerous people questioned how it was possible for their character to carry so much weight. Several people offered solutions, which typically involved using Restoration Magic in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. According to some players, it's possible to fortify a character's Strength with Restoration Magic, increasing their carrying capacity by a considerable amount. A couple of gamers stated that they thought Strength capped at 100. However, a few players pointed out that the cap applies to damage, not carrying capacity, which will continue to increase with every Strength buff.

Bethesda's popular RPG is full of interesting details that players are discovering (or rediscovering) for themselves as they spend more time with the game.
