Most of the classic exploits have been patched out of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but players have already discovered a new duplication glitch that allows them to create huge piles of lockpicks, arrows, and valuables in the blink of an eye. The Oblivion Remastered duplication glitch works on both PC and consoles, and it's incredibly easy to perform on both keyboard and controller.
Players are always going to seek out duplication glitches whenever they start playing a new RPG, but the remastered version of Oblivion removes most of the glitches that players have grown accustomed to over the years. Oblivion Remastered is still Oblivion at its core, though, so it was only a matter of time before another duplication exploit was discovered. This Oblivion Remastered duplication glitch is perfect for stocking up on things like arrows and healing potions, and it also works on valuables like jewelry to make a ton of gold.
Where to Buy Destruction Spells in Oblivion Remastered
Destruction spells are incredibly popular amongst magic users in Oblivion Remastered, but figuring out where to buy new ones is a pain.
How to Do the Oblivion Remastered Duplication Glitch
The Oblivion Remastered duplication glitch requires an empty container like a chest, but any container will do. The Imperial City Market District has a bunch of crates and sacks that work perfectly for this. Once a suitable container is found, open it and press the F key or R3 on a controller to select "search" and open the inventory menu.
At this point, both the container and the player's inventory should be visible side by side. Place the items that you want to duplicate into the container by itself. Next, look in your inventory for a large stack of items like arrows. That's how many duplicates will be created of the targeted item. Then, highlight your own inventory on the left side of the screen so that the arrow at the top of the screen is pointing toward the container.
Now it's time for the duplication process. On PC, drag and drop the large stack of items from your inventory onto the target item in the container. A menu will pop up asking "how many." Press the Enter key twice to confirm. If done correctly, the duplicated items will be in the player's inventory.
To do this on PlayStation or Xbox with a controller, press R1/RB and X/A at the same time while hovering over the stack of items in their inventory. Then, confirm twice when the "how many" prompt appears.
The Oblivion Remastered duplication glitch will most likely get patched out in a future update, so players should take advantage of this exploit while they still can. It's currently one of the best ways to make money in Oblivion Remastered, so it's a perfect way to save up for a house.
