- Oblivion Remastered has gained million of players since launch, resulting in many unique stories.
An Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion Remastered player has recently shared a hilarious video in which their main character can be seen being pushed around by a deer while encumbered. Oblivion Remastered is a fairly immersive game with complex character behaviors, and this often helps gamers to experience incredible stories while playing the classic open-world RPG.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was originally released in 2006, and the game’s remastered edition was finally shadow-dropped in April, after months of speculation about its existence. Oblivion Remastered quickly became a huge hit, reaching over four million players in just three days, and it seems that gamers are still sharing their best stories about the open world with the community.
Oblivion Remastered: How to Level Mysticism Quickly
Mysticism is one of the hardest magic schools to level in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. Power leveling requires the use of custom spells.
A gamer called Gorxuk has recently shared a short video of Oblivion Remastered where their character can be seen trying to walk around outside the Imperial City of Cyrodiil while encumbered. Surprisingly, a deer gets behind the player and starts pushing them around towards the city, greatly increasing their walking speed, which was incredibly low before. This wholesome video gained over 3,700 upvotes in the community, as multiple players were amazed by how unlikely this weird interaction was.
Oblivion Remastered Player Gets Pushed Around By Deer While Overencumbered
This is just one of multiple recent stories of players having weird adventures in Cyrodiil. Earlier this week, for example, one gamer discovered that sitting in a chair inside their house was a crime in Oblivion Remastered, as the game showcased the action of sitting down in red letters, as it would do with stealing or opening the lock to someone’s home. Due to this being a possibly rare glitch, no gamer was able to explain why that happened.
Some other times, however, these weird Oblivion Remastered stories happen due to the players’ actions, not random luck. For instance, some gamers have recently shared their attempts at trying to save the Emperor in Oblivion Remastered. Emperor Uriel Septim is scripted to die in the first mission of the game, but some players tried to keep the powerful figure alive, killing many assassins, who kept appearing until the Emperor died.
Recent reports indicate that Oblivion Remastered is already one of the best-selling games of 2025 in the United States, appearing behind only Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, according to Circana’s report. It remains to be seen, however, if Oblivion Remastered will keep its spot or if it will be overcome by other greatly popular titles such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 or the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages.
