Battlehorn Castle in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a large castle similar to those players interact with inside different cities. To get to Battlehorn Castle, fast travel to Chorrol and start riding west along the road. You will soon come upon the castle, and a message will pop up saying that you hear battle noises and should help out. After encountering the marauders at the front gate and dealing with them, you can head inside the Great Hall and talk to Battlehorn Man-At-Arms. The soldier will give you Lord Kelvyn's Will, and this will start the quest, Battlehorn Castle.

The next step is to purchase upgrade items for Battlehorn Castle from Nilphas Omelian at the Merchant's Inn, in the Merchant District, Imperial City. You can purchase the following upgrades, which will improve the castle, which acts as a player home for you:

After entering the castle, from the main entrance, head left toward the wooden door. Open it and l ook to your left to find a wall with a pillar alongside it that you can interact with, revealing a path. Head to the Basement, keep going down, and once you enter the room, go to the other corner to find another door.

Go forward and up the first few steps, then take a right, followed by a left to enter the sparring room. Head to the room located east of your compass, where you will find a target dummy for archery. Behind it, to the right, is a candelabra that you can activate to reveal a path leading to the Battlehorn Castle Grotto.

Head inside and go down the stairs to come upon a dead end. However, similar to the last time, you can interact with the movable pillar on your left to reveal a path. Turn right, and you will find yourself on the balcony, and to your left is a skeleton—Lord Kane. Defeat it and look around its body to find the Dragonsword of Lainlyn and Lord Kane's Shield.

You can deal with the ghost in the area, who possesses a key that you can use to open the chest in the water below.
