Atlantideum is a new No Man's Sky resource that came with the 16th Expedition The Cursed, and players are struggling to find this precious resource to continue further down the Paths and complete all the Milestones.
Scouring through the stars, we've tracked down huge deposits of this resource, and in this guide, we will show players how they can get their hands on tons of Atlantideum, and unlock all rewards related to collecting this precious material.
No Man’s Sky: How to Play Multiplayer
Players can go on large group excursions or play in smaller sessions with their friends using No Man's Sky co-op.
Where To Find Atlantideum In No Man's Sky
In No Man's Sky, The Cursed, players might get lucky and land on a planet with enough Atlantideum to progress further in their Expeditions, but if this is not the case, here are two places where players can find this precious mineral:
- Dissonant Planets: are worlds where the Sentinels became corrupted, and the wildlife has also been greatly affected by the corruption. In these planets climate is unpredictable, and the classic Sentinel enemies are highly aggressive, so if they spot players, they'll shoot to kill.
- Corrupted Sentinel Camps and Pillars: spread across the galaxy, there are many worlds where certain Sentinel enclaves have become corrupted. So assaulting these camps and their deposits is a good way to get more Atlantideum.
- Killing Corrupted Sentinels has a small chance of yielding a certain amount of Atlantideum, so players should also invest in the battle technology attached to their Multitools and assault some of their outposts.
Dissonant Planets are not so hard to find in No Man's Sky The Cursed, and many of the places where players will land using Blood Elixir when they cross a Portal can be subjected to Corruption. Look for Pink Crystal deposits in the ground, which can be extracted using the Advanced Extraction Laser. Small-sized crystals will yield between 1 and 3 Atlantideum, while Medium Crystals will drop between 3 to 5 pieces each.
Players need to Farm 250 Atlantideum in total to unlock the Discordant Milestone (from Phase 4), which rewards players with a new Elixir of Blood recipe, a Forbidden Exosuit Module, 20x Navigation Data, and 440x Cadmium.

If you're trying to find Shattered Qualia to craft Elixir of Glass in No Man's Sky, this guide can help you track it down.
How To Use Atlantideum In No Man's Sky
As we mentioned before, having at least 250 Atlantideum will immediately unlock a Milestone from Phase 4 in The Cursed Expedition. However, it can also help to complete a Phase 5 Milestone, called Reality Foam, which tasks players with the collection of 2500 Nanites.
Atlantideum can be mixed with Pungeum in the Advanced Refinery to create Running Mould, and Running Mould can be refined into Nanites. So, having a lot of Atlantideum means a steady source of Nanites, not only to complete this part of the Expedition, but to purchase many important upgrades, blueprints, and more.
