Myths in Nioh 3 offer a few rewards upon completion and also count towards the exploration level, making more of the collectibles on the map visible for the players. Players who are interested in acquiring the "Answering to the People" trophy/achievement will have to complete all the Myths, but thankfully, none of them are missable.

Unwavering Hope is one of the myths that players will come across while exploring the Sagano region in Heian. The guide below offers information about the side quest and what fate players should choose near the end of the quest in Nioh 3.

How to Start Unwavering Hope Myth in Nioh 3

After reaching the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine located in the middle of Sagano, you can look to the east to spot a spirit on top of an icy hill with no way to reach it. Y ou will have to go southwest, then follow the path south to reach Nishiichi. There is an enemy camp on your way that you can clear out to get additional rewards.

Once you spot the mermaids fighting the bandits, look to your left to spot a temple that is partially buried in the water. Jump onto the roof tiles and make your way to the other side to reach a Spirit Vein that will let you go up to the Lesser Crucible in this region. Clear out the waves of enemies and break the Crucible to clear a path forward. Just go straight, and you will find the spirit who gives you the quest.

Where to Find Tsubaki in Nioh 3

The man will tell you that he is looking for his lover, Tsubaki. A small area will be marked on your map, which is to the west of the starting location, and you have to search the vicinity. A Yamainu is roaming around, and you should deal with it first before searching the corpse for information.

Once this is done, make your way northeast of this location to investigate the village. There are a few enemies here, as well as some corpses that you need to search to get more information about Tsubaki's whereabouts. The spirit will suggest that she could be at the temple, which is your next location to the northwest.

Upon arriving at the temple, you will witness a bloody scene, and a fight with Tsurara-onna will begin. Once the Yokai has been defeated, the man will come and claim that Tsubaki must have a reason for all of this, giving you the choice of whether or not you want to kill the Yokai.

The rewards for this do not change depending on your choice, but you will get some additional coins and elixir for killing her. If you decide to let her go, the spirit will thank you for doing so. However, if you decide to kill her, you will find out that Tsubaki was still trying to find medicine, and the man will mention that she would kill more people if you let her go.

With this, the quest will be completed, and you will get Ninja's Locks and Sasayuki.
