There are many types of damage players will receive while exploring the world of Nioh 3. One of the more dangerous damage is Life Corrosion, as it eats away your health and leaves players with a missing chunk of their Life. Getting rid of this condition is thankfully easy and using the Jizo Blessing makes it even easier. Here are some methods on how to remove Life Corrosion in Nioh 3.

How To Remove Life Corrosion In Nioh 3
Life Corrosion is a condition that can be inflicted on your Life bar if players get attacked by an enemy while in the Crucible Realm or the Lesser Crucible. Additionally, taking damage while dealing with a Crucible Weapon will also inflict Life Corrosion. This condition reduces maximum health and is only removed through certain methods.
The first one is by simply attacking an enemy until the red bar disappears. Normal attacks will slowly remove it, while a powerful attack like assassinating from behind will almost get rid of the corrosion completely. While in Ninja Style, using Ninjutsu like Shuriken and Kunai will also slowly remove the Life Corrosion.
Another reliable method is using Jizo Blessing to enhance your Elixir, allowing it to cure Life Corrosion. To get Jizo Merit, locate the Six Jizo statues and pray there to get 50 Merit. These statues are scattered around the map.
When using a Shrine, head to the Jizo Blessing to use the points. Most of the Merits are used to ensure players' survivability in the Crucible. Here are the blessings you can enhance:
|
Jizo Blessing |
Effect |
|---|---|
|
Life Corrosion Recovery (Crucible) |
Cures Life Corrosion and restores Life while using Elixir. |
|
Elixir Drop Rate (Crucible) |
Increase the Drop Rate of Elixirs while in the Crucible. |
|
Corrosion Recovery (Guardian Spirit Skill) |
Increase the amount of Life Corrosion cured when using a Guardian Spirit Skill. |
|
Melee Damage (Crucible) |
Increase damage dealt by melee attacks while in the Crucible. |
Each one has three levels and each level requires 50 Jizo Merit to upgrade. So, each blessing requires 150 Merit to be fully enhanced.
Upon upgrading the Life Corrosion Recovery (Crucible) at least once, you can drink Elixir to cure a small amount of Life Corrosion. Enhancing the blessing more allows players to restore a bigger chunk of their health.
The Corrosion Recovery (Guardian Spirit Skill) is also an option but not as reliable since you need to wait for the Spirit Skill to fill up before using it.
