Nioh 3 launches with two separate editions, Standard and Deluxe. Similar to a lot of games released over the past few years, purchasing a specific edition or pre-ordering this soulslike game comes with additional content and, in some cases, items and equipment that can help out, especially in the early stages of the game.
Players might be wondering how to collect these items in-game, along with the reward for completing the demo. The process to claim these rewards in Nioh 3 is fairly simple, but the game does not point it out.
Nioh 3 Review
With its Ninja style, Style Shift system, and open-field design, Nioh 3 pushes movement and player freedom further than any entry before it.
How to Claim Demo, Preorder, and Deluxe Items in Nioh 3
After starting the game, you will need to progress through the starting areas of the game, where you learn the basics of this soulslike and who the characters are. If you have played the demo already, you will not have to replay this section, as the progress from the demo carries forward into the main game. To access the items, you will need to find a Shrine. Now, the starting shrines will not work, since you cannot do anything at them except for "Praying," which resets all enemies and replenishes your Elixir.
Once you do have multiple options at any Shrine, go to the Preparations tab and select Boons. After a second of loading, you will get quite a few items, depending on which edition you purchased.
