To trigger Depicting the Tiger of Kai Myth in Nioh 3, players need to speak with the ghost near the cliff located next to the Silver Grass Meadow Shrine in Futamata Road. The ghost asks you to find him items related to Takeda Shingen to complete the quest.
The quest is quite long and is heavily intertwined with the main quest, as players must defeat a couple of main bosses to access some of the items.
Item Related To Takeda Shingen Location #1
The first item is the Demon of Mino's Charm located in Futamata Castle.
Upon arriving at the Futamata Castle- Defensive Gate Shrine, head around the enemies to the higher floor. Defeat Baba Nobuharu, and you'll complete one of the main quests as well as obtain the Demon of Mino's Charm. Return to the ghost and give him the item, only to be sent to search for another item.
Item Related To Takeda Shingen Location #2
The second item related to Takeda Shingen is the Shingen's Fan. You can find it inside the Mikatagahara Crucible.
After exploring the Crucible, players will eventually reach the end where they need to defeat Takeda Shingen himself. He's a formidable enemy that'll deal significant damage. Similar to before, you'll get another item called the Shingen's Fan, that you can present to the ghost to progress further into the Depicting the Tiger of Kai quest in Nioh 3.
Item Related To Takeda Shingen Location #3
Finally, head towards Saigagake to collect the final item, which is the Takeda Sake Bottle.
By following the main quest mark, you'll arrive at the Saigagake - Rear Approach Shrine. Proceed forward and turn right to open the door. There is a tough enemy inside, so be prepared. After defeating the yokai, appraoch the body and search it to get the Takeda Sake Bottle.
Give the final item to the ghost, who then asks to borrow your artistic skills to leave behind the Portrait of Takeda Shingen.
This completes Depicting the Tiger of Kai Myth, granting players many valuable rewards like a Ninja's Locks.
