Hot Springs count as collectibles in Nioh 3 that are marked on the map once players increase their exploration levels. Interacting with the Hot Springs can give players a temporary healing buff, which is useful while exploring the surrounding areas. Finding some of the Hot Springs can be a bit difficult because they are hidden behind fake walls or secret passages. There are eight Hot Springs in the Heian era in Nioh 3, and all their locations are listed in the guide below.

All Heian Hot Springs Locations in Nioh 3
Mount Kurama
- Recommended Level: N/A
From the Kinone Michi Shrine, go straight, then left to find a Spirit Vein. Traverse to the other side, then go down the ladder to find the first Hot Spring in Heian.
Funaokayama
- Recommended Level: 59
During the Follow the Soldier's Shadow myth, you will enter the enemy base to the northwest of the region. Behind a Nurikabe wall, you can find a path leading to the Hot Spring. Alternatively, you can also go up where the One-Eyed Oni rolls down the giant snowball at you.
Sagano
- Recommended Level: 62
From the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine, head south, going through the enemy base that you can clear out. When you reach the mermaids and the submerged temple on the left, go across and you will find a Spirit Vein that takes you up to the Lesser Crucible. Instead of going up the Spirit Vein, go along the path on the right for this Hot Spring.
Sagano

Before reaching the Matsuo-taisha Shrine: Ascetic Cave, you will come across a Raven shooting projectiles while perched atop the Tori Gate. After going past it, instead of going right into the cave, go forward and check the right wall to spot a Nurikabe wall. Emote correctly or defeat it to get past and interact with the Hot Spring.
Hachijo
- Recommended Level: 73
From the Anneibo Temple Shrine, the same Shrine which is occupied by the enemy base, go east. On your way to the next shrine further east, you will spot wooden stairs on your right leading to the Hot Spring.
Hachijo

From the Rajomon: Mibu Avenue Shrine, break the icicles on the right and drop onto the wooden ledge, then onto the roof of the building. Head down the ladder to find the Hot Spring.
Rokuhara

Given that you have opened all the shortcuts, from Yasaka Shrine: Nishiro Gate, go up the ladder and head south. Go up the stairs on your left and follow the path straight, ignoring the temple on your right. When you reach the Aberrant Onmyo Mage, turn left to spot some icicles you can break and find the Hot Spring up ahead.
Palace Grounds

This is behind a Nurikabe wall in the Palace Grounds during the main story mission, Frozen City, Blazing Tree. This is inside the Crucible, so if you missed this, you will have to replay the mission through the Battle Scroll.
