Crucible Wraiths in Nioh 3 are powerful versions of the normal Yokai enemies that players will come across during their exploration. These Wraiths drop their Soul Core. Some of these are locked behind Crucible missions, so players will have to progress in the main story to encounter these Yokai. Warring States has 18 Crucible Wraiths spread across the different regions, and the guide below lists all of their locations in Nioh 3.

Tenryu River
- Recommended Level: 6
This wraith is located to the north of the Ikeda Ferry Shrine in Tokaido. To access it, you will have to go around and interact with the Spirit Vein, which unlocks in the second main era, Heian.
Hamamatsu
- Recommended Level: 10
This is located near the Hamamatsu Post - Terrace Shrine. From the Shrine, go northeast until you find a house with a ladder that goes down into an underground cave. Inside this cave, you will find the Crucible Wraith.

During the Crucible Manifested main mission, you can find this in the southeast part of the region. This can only be accessed during the Crucible, so if you missed it initially, you can replay the level from the Battle Scroll option.

From the Water Mill Shrine, pull the lever on the side to lower the drawbridge, giving you a path across. On the other side, you will find a bunch of houses and another lever that fully drains the water level. Once this is done, go down into the waterless pit and jump to the Torii Gate in the middle. From here, you will be able to spot an underground entrance, inside of which is your Crucible Wraith.

During the Abundant Evil myth, you will come across an enemy base west of Maisaka Post. Clear out all the enemies, then go to the main building to fight the final enemy, which happens to be the Wraith as well.

Inside the Haunting Caves, do not go to the upper floor; instead, stay on the ground level and make your way to the southwest section of the cave, where you will find a few platforms you can jump on to reach the other side. Here you will find a powerful Dweller enemy, who is the Wraith.

From the Rimstone Pool Shrine inside the Haunting Caves, head straight and drop down while sticking to the left wall. You will find a body of water to the side where two lesser Umi-bozu drop from the ceiling, as well as the Wraith.

You can find this during the main story mission, A Fiery Invasion, inside the Crucible area. In the case that you missed it initially, you can replay this in the Battle Scroll.

You will have to progress through the story until you gain access to Saigagake. The Crucible Wraith will be roaming around in an open area before you go up the ramps and find the Main Hall Shrine.

From the Rear Approach Shrine, head west and look to the left to spot the second Crucible Wraith in Saigagake.

From the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine, head south to find a Spirit Vein, behind which is the Wraith.

After reaching Iinoya and making your way to the Temple Ruins, you will have to exit through the eastern side to find it on your way to the next Shrine.
