Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Still Have an Unsolved Mystery

A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan highlights how one of the biggest mysteries in the game remains unsolved even after the release of the DLCs.

Spotted by Serebii.net on Twitter, it was confirmed that the seventh and final set of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet icons are now available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Fans have eight new icons to use, including Penny, the Mythical Pokemon Pecharunt, Pikachu, Eevee, Shiny Rayquaza, a Team Star member, and Charcadet. There are also five new Backgrounds and five new Frames to claim, sporting a variety of colors and patterns, including a red and purple colorway exclusive to the game. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can use a powerful Sylveon build to conquer Tera Raid battles in-game, therefore, the Eevee evolution is bound to be a popular icon among subscribers.

Nintendo Switch Online Adds New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Icons

Claiming new Pokemon icons is a straightforward procedure, and each new icon in the seventh set costs 10 Platinum Points with Backgrounds and Frames costing 5 Platinum Points each. Pokemon fans on Twitter were excited to receive the new icons, but some wished more Eeveelutions had been released. The Sylveon icon was by far the most popular and subscribers are keeping their fingers crossed for Glaceon and new Perrin icons in the future.

Mario-themed icons are also available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, alongside a good selection for The Legend of Zelda fans. The subscription’s Missions and Rewards system encourages subscribers to complete missions to obtain Platinum Points rewards, including retro icons and icon elements, and the rewards catalog rotates regularly to keep the prizes fresh.
