Nintendo Indie World Showcase Date and Time
- November, 14 at 9:00 a.m. PT/12:00 p.m. ET
While first-party Nintendo games are the main highlights of the platform, there are several excellent Indie games on Nintendo Switc as well. The last edition of Indie World happened back in April, and it featured 21 titles. Some of the games that appeared in the presentation included the Stardew Valley-inspired My Time at Sandrock, Blasphemous 2, Shadows Over Loathing, Mineko’s Night Market, and a new update for Cult of the Lamb. No games have been confirmed for this edition of Indie World so far, but similar announcements are expected.
The Nintendo Switch has been a very successful console. Nintendo recently revealed that the system sold 132.46 million units, outselling the Wii, which was the previous best-selling home console made by the company. Still, it’s behind both the Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2 at the time of this writing.
There are rumors that Nintendo is planning to release the Switch 2 in 2024. Rumors suggest that the Switch's successor will have advanced processing power and be backward compatible with the original Switch's library, but fans should take those claims with a grain of salt.
