On November 10, Nintendo revealed its plans for the 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping season, as various Switch games like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will be temporarily discounted. Additional discounts on Amiibo figures and microSD Express cards will also be available for Nintendo shoppers at various retailers while supplies last.

The news came amid a busy retail year for Nintendo, which was heralded by the June launch of the Switch 2 console. Suffice to say, the Switch 2 has broken various sales records across the globe and sold over 10 million units worldwide within its first 90 days of availability. The success of the Switch 2 is due in large part to Nintendo's support for third-party hits like Hades 2, and anchored by first-party entries like Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Donkey Kong Bananza. The launch of upcoming titles like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Resident Evil Requiem will only add to the Switch 2's growing momentum over the coming months.

Compared to the Black Friday offers that Sony and Microsoft are hosting via different retailers, Nintendo's 2025 offers are humbler by comparison but still notable. Starting Thursday, November 20, the Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store will host the Cyber Deals sale on various games through December 3. However, Nintendo has not revealed what these discounts will be. Additional discounts on physical Switch games will begin on November 23 at the Nintendo US stores in New York and San Francisco, and at participating retailers. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Luigi's Mansion 3 will be marked down to $39.99, while other titles like Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Super Mario Odyssey will drop to $29.99 while supplies last.

Aside from first-party games, Nintendo and its retail partners will also offer $10 discounts on select Amiibo figures from The Legend of Zelda and the Street Fighter 6 lineups, along with the Street Fighter 6 Amiibo Card Starter Set. On November 30, discounts on Samsung microSD Express Cards, which are used by the Switch 2 for additional storage space, will be discounted by up to $20 at participating retailers. Given that microSD Express Cards rarely go on sale, Switch 2 customers may want to pick one up if they don't already have one.

Users can also check the Nintendo Store app for any discounts on the eShop and My Nintendo Store that may appear during the Cyber Deals window. All in all, shoppers will soon have a big opportunity to cross some Nintendo items off their lists.
