The Aqua Capital is the sixth chapter in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, and it is filled with enemies to defeat and collectibles to find. While this level's layout is quite linear, some players may want to be absolutely certain that they do not miss anything as they work through it. This walkthrough is written with those players in mind, and it will help them complete Chapter 6 of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and find every collectible along the way.
If a player ever gets lost during Chapter 6, they can hold RB while stationary to point the camera in the right direction.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black: Chapter 6 Guide
Get Crystal Skull #1
As Chapter 6 begins, players will be confronted by several werewolves, and they should dispatch those foes, climb the stairs that are ahead, and go left at the fork in the path. Ninja Gaiden fans who follow that path will be led to the canal that is below, and there is a gondola with a Crystal Skull sitting in that body of water. Players can use the water run ability to easily reach that collectible.
Get Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang
Players should now return to the fork and take the other path to cross a bridge, dispatching the enemies that they find there. There are a series of market stalls beyond that bridge, and fans should defeat the werewolves that appear in the area and follow the corridor to reach a save station. There is a body in front of that station with which players should interact in order to claim the Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang, a weapon in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
Get Crystal Skull #2
After making a save, players should use the nearby door to reach an outdoor seating area. There is a Crystal Skull on a table to the player's right at the beginning of that area, and they should grab it and dispatch the werewolves that appear.
Get Spirit of the Devils
Players should now use the small bridge to continue past the seating area. After defeating the werewolves at the end of that bridge, fans can go right to enter an alcove with a chest that holds an Herb of Spiritual Life. Fans of ninja games can then head in the opposite direction and go straight until they reach another alcove with a chest that holds some blue orbs.
Once the blue orbs are collected, players should turn around, cross the bridge, and go right to move in the direction of some stone pillars. There is a body on the ground just beyond those pillars, and fans who interact with it will receive a Spirit of the Devils.
Get Crystal Skull #3
Players will now find that they are trapped in an arena, and they should focus on dispatching the foes as they appear. Once the enemies are defeated, players should drop to the base of the fountain in the center of the arena and use the opening to enter the canal.
In the canal, players should water run until they reach a dead end that is created by a metal fence with no opening. There is an alcove just before the fence, and fans of character action games should enter that alcove and dive to find a Crystal Skull.
Get the Art of the Piercing Void
Players should now backtrack slightly to reach a metal fence with a hole. Fans can get through that whole by diving, and they should follow the water to reach yet another fence with a hole. Once again, players should dive to get through that hole, and they should use the gondola that is ahead of them to enter a room with a save station.
After defeating the enemies in the room, and making a save, players should climb the stairs. There is a chest at the top of those stairs that holds The Art of the Piercing Void, a Ninpo in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
Get Life of the Gods #1
Players should now pass through the door near the chest and go right to reach a statue where they can purchase items and upgrade weapons. Fans should then head in the opposite direction and follow the enemy-filled path until they reach a ledge that is across from two green lights.
The goal is now to hit those green lights with arrows, and a bridge will lower when both have been struck. When that occurs, players should jump on top of the nearby crates, and use the pole to reach the platform that is across the water. There is a chest on that platform that holds a Life of the Gods.
Get Lives of the Thousand Gods
After collecting the Life of the Gods, players should drop into the canal that is below and water run to reach two large waterwheels. There is a platform next to the left waterwheel, and fans should stand on it, grab onto one of the beams that span the waterwheel, and ride to the top. At the top, players should jump onto the wood platform and use the horizontal cog to enter a room.
There is a curved pipe rotating at the top of the room, and players should grab onto it to reach a chest. This chest holds a Lives of the Thousand Gods.
Get Jewel of the Demon Seal
Players can now use the door on the room's first floor to enter a courtyard that will become filled with werewolves. Once those foes are slain, fans of action-adventure games should enter the building from which they emerged, making a save along the way, and defeat the enemies inside. Players can then use the opening above the small pool of water to descend further into the building.
Players will encounter an intersection not long after passing through that opening, and they should enter the room on their right. There is a chest in that room that holds a Jewel of the Demon Seal.
There is a statue that players can use to purchase items and upgrade weapons in the room to the left.
Get Howling Cannon
Players should now descend further into the building, killing all the enemies that they encounter along the way. Fans who follow the path will eventually reach a small room with a body that holds the Howling Cannon. After collecting the weapon, players should ascend the stairs that are beyond the room with the body and follow the path to reach a chest with some yellow orbs.
Get Life of the Gods #2
Players should now backtrack, and they will find that a gate has opened in the corridor that was initially used to reach the room with the Howling Cannon. The path beyond that gate leads to a circular stone platform with wood at its center, and players should perform a heavy jumping attack in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black to break through the wood.
Fans will now find themselves in a water-filled area, and they should make a save, continue forward, dispatch the spectral fish, and dive into the center of the stone circle that they encounter. Indeed, there is a hole in the water at the center of this circle, and fans can use it to swim into a corridor and access another water-filled area.
In this area, players should make their way to the back-left corner. There are two rows of columns quite close to one another in this position, and there is a chest underwater between those columns. Fans can reach that chest by diving, and it holds a Life of the Gods.
Summon Boss
With the level's final collectible obtained, players should explore the entirety of the water-filled area and kill every spectral fish that they encounter. A cutscene will trigger as soon as the final fish is defeated, and fans will now be ready to do battle with the Chapter 6 boss: the Water Dragon.
Beat Boss
Players must now focus their efforts on defeating the Water Dragon. While there are a number of ways to approach that task, it is recommended that fans equip their newly obtained Howling Cannon and repeatedly fire it into the face of this Ninja Gaiden boss. Players are also advised to use these strategies to minimize the damage that they take from the dragon's various attacks:
- Perpendicular Wave: The dragon will occasionally slam its head down and send a wave forward. Players can avoid that attack simply by evading to one side of the boss's head.
- Parallel Wave: The dragon can send out a wave that moves along the length of Ryu's platform. This attack can be avoided by evading as soon as the wave begins to make contact with the platform.
- Missiles: Players may find it impossible to completely avoid the dragon's missile barrage, though they can minimize the damage by evading and jumping.
- Spectral Fish: Players should use some quick light attacks to dispatch any spectral fish the dragon sends their way.
