Nine Sols: Daybreak Tower Bell Puzzle Guide

The first step toward solving the Daybreak Tower bell puzzle is speaking with the mysterious Solarian who is standing just to the right of the bells. For full clarity, the bell room is on the left side of the Lake Yaochi Ruins, and indie video game fans will receive the Ancient Sheet Music Artifact at the end of the conversation.

With the Ancient Sheet Music in hand, players can use a Root Node to quickly return to the Four Seasons Pavilion. Here, Metroidvania fans should give the Artifact to Shuanshuan to trigger a short cutscene in which Yi asks Ruyi for some assistance.

As soon as that cutscene comes to an end, players should resume their exploration of the map and occasionally return to the Four Seasons Pavilion. Fans of Soulslikes who perform these return trips will eventually find Shuanshuan playing Yi's flute in the hub area, and they should speak with him to hear a performance and receive the Ancient Penglai Ballad Key Item.

The description of the Ancient Penglai Ballad begins with a series of five symbols, and they indicate the order in which the bells in the Daybreak Tower are to be hit.
