Fans Can Stream Henry Cavill's Crime Thriller Night Hunter On Paramount+

As noted by FlixPatrol, Night Hunter is doing well on Paramount+. It's a perfect example of how sometimes, a good movie has a low Rotten Tomatoes score, and even though these low scores sometimes make someone want to skip a film or TV show, that would be a shame here. Night Hunter, which is also called Nomis, has only 14% on the Tomatometer and a 51% Audience Score.

Written and directed by David Raymond and released in 2018, Night Hunter follows Detective Walter Marshall (Henry Cavill) who is investigating a serial killer along with a vigilante named Michael Cooper (Ben Kingsley) and Rachel Chase (Alexandra Daddario), a psychologist. Both the intense, dark storyline and the talented cast make Night Hunter stand out among the crowd of crime thrillers.

As Marshall continues with his search, Cooper's daughter Lara (Eliana Jones) is abducted, which complicates the situation and adds a terrifying and disturbing layer. Other cast members include Stanley Tucci and Nathan Fillion, who is known for playing funny and charming cop John Nolan on The Rookie and who is rarely seen in a dark crime thriller.

Cavill played Sherlock Holmes in the 2020 movie Enola Holmes and the 2022 sequel Enola Holmes 2, which stars Stranger Things cast member Millie Bobby Brown in the title role. Besides reprising his role in the third movie, he also played the smart Agent Aubrey Argylle in the funny 2023 spy movie Argylle. Some of his other compelling parts include a paramedic in the 2009 horror movie Blood Creek and roles in a variety of period pieces including Tristan & Isolde and The Count of Monte Cristo, which were released in 2006 and 2002.

Cavill talked about his career in an interview with The Talks and said that the popularity of The Witcher has been helpful. He said:

"When you're piecing together projects can be considered commodities, and your commodity is popular in one media, then someone else will go, 'Hey, that’s a great commodity, let's put it in our project.' And then hopefully, we'll get more people to come watch our movie or our TV show. So the success of The Witcher has an effect on that side of business as an actor."
