Fashion is the true endgame in many MMOs, and the same can be said in New World: Aeternum. Your gear will naturally look more impressive as you grow your character, but if your current outfit doesn't look quite right, you can always change your appearance by using Transmog Tokens.
As their name suggests, Transmog Tokens let you apply the look of one item over your currently equipped gear. They don't serve any other purpose apart from satisfying a player's vanity, but if you want your outfit to match your weapons, playstyle, or mounts in New World: Aeternum without having to change your stats and perks, then using Transmog Tokens is the way to go.

How to Get Transmog Tokens in New World: Aeternum
There are two ways to get Transmog Tokens: grinding the season pass and purchasing them from the in-game shop. The former won't require any additional expenses, but the number of tokens you get per season is limited, and it will take a while to get all of them.
For most players, grinding the season pass is the best way to get a Transmog Token. You can get up to three free tokens per season (one at levels 35, 60, and 95), and if you upgrade to a premium pass, you can get five more tokens. Leveling the season pass is completely different from the usual XP farming in New World: Aeternum, but you can expect to gain season pass tiers naturally as you play.
In earlier seasons, players could farm for Transmog Tokens by going on Elite Chest runs, which had a 1% chance of dropping tokens. In Season of Opportunity, tokens were removed from the Elite Chest loot pool. Still, you can get some awesome weapons and loot from these chests — try asking in chat if there are any people who would like to take you on an Elite Chest run, then just follow the horde of players from one spot to another.
How to Use Transmog Tokens in New World: Aeternum
To change your gear's appearance in New World, you need to visit a Stylemancer in any of the major cities. They're usually near Outfitting Stations. Speak with one of them, then select the Transmogrify option. This will open the full list of in-game items that you can use to transmog your gear into.
If you have a Transmog Token, pick any of the available pieces of equipment, then select Transmog. The selected item will then be turned into a skin that all characters in your account can use. You can apply skins through the same menu.
