As with most MMOs, leveling up in New World: Aeternum can take quite a while. While the early game experience itself is quite enjoyable, players will still need to reach the max level cap if they want to unlock everything the game has to offer.
Reaching level 65 is going to take some time, especially if you're exploring Aeternum alone. However, there are some ways to make the leveling experience much more efficient, so pick you're preferred playstyle in New World: Aeternum, and get ready to blaze a trail through the island with these quick tips on how to level up as quickly as possible.
How To Fast Travel in New World: Aeternum
New World: Aeternum players can utilize the game's fast travel feature to traverse Aeternum with ease.
Fastest Ways to Level Up in New World: Aeternum
If you're a solo player, then the best way to level up in New World is to do the main quest. This same logic applies to almost every other MMO out there, but there are a couple of things you should know in this game to help you earn XP faster than usual.
Do Those Side Quests
First, there are many side quests that are set at or near the main story quests' objectives. We strongly suggest taking every side quest you can when you reach a new area, then complete them as you're doing the MSQ. Not all side quests happen near main story objectives, so you can either refrain from taking those or just hide them from your journal so your UI doesn't get cluttered.
Regional XP Bonuses
Second, you can get regional XP bonuses by unlocking perks, which you can get by earning Territory Standing Points in New World: Aeternum. Open your map screen, then turn your attention to the left side. There's a list of map regions there, and if one of them has a notification blip, that means you can unlock perks for that region.
You'll get to pick between three random perks for every upgrade point you have. The XP bonus perk won't always be there — if it isn't, grab some extra storage space or gathering speed instead.
Crafting
If you're already at a high level and are struggling to reach the max cap, try to incorporate crafting into your regular routine. You get XP for your main level and the trade skill of your choice. Since crafting tends to be very lucrative, this is a great way to earn money if you're planning to buy something expensive like a house in New World: Aeternum.
Since crafting requires a lot of materials, this method is usually reserved for mid-late-game players with way too many resources than they know what to do with. Crafting and refining low-level materials typically isn't worth doing early on, and you're better off focusing on completing quests instead.
