Sony recently confirmed that it has no big first-party exclusive games releasing this fiscal year, but the PlayStation 5 is still about to go an impressive streak of exclusive new game releases thanks to the company's third-party partners. Thanks to a focus on cross-gen releases and Sony's desire to port its big games to PC, the PS5 doesn't have all that many exclusives compared to its predecessors, but it's still building a respectable library.
Two of the highest-rated PS5 exclusives were released for the console on the very day of its launch, in the form of the Astro's Playroom pack-in title and the Demon's Souls remake. Since then, the PS5 exclusive games have consisted of Destruction AllStars, Horizon Call of the Mountain, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Quantum Error, Silent Hill: The Short Message, and The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR.
Sony Has Bad News for PS5 Gamers
Sony Interactive Entertainment has bad news for PlayStation 5 gamers, but there is still plenty to look forward to in the near future.
PS5 gamers will soon have three more games to add to the list of the console's exclusives, with one set to release in February, another in March, and the last one in April. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is launching February 29, Rise of the Ronin is coming March 22, and Stellar Blade is scheduled to release April 26. Barring any unforeseen delays, these releases will put the PS5 on an impressive three-month stretch of new exclusives and considerably boost the value of its exclusives library.

The jury is still out on the quality of these games, though they have all looked impressive thus far. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second installment in Square Enix's Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, promising graphical improvements, large open zones to explore, and an even deeper version of the exciting combat system from the previous game. An FF7 Rebirth demo is available to play right now for those that can't wait for February 29.
Rise of the Ronin, meanwhile, is an open world action-RPG developed by Team Ninja. Rise of the Ronin has drawn comparisons to Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, and it will be exciting to see if it lives up to the hype. As far as Stellar Blade goes, it's a new sci-fi action game with stylish, over-the-top combat that has players battling all kinds of monstrosities as a deadly woman named Eve. All three games have the potential to be big hits for PlayStation, and regardless, it will be nice for the PS5 to secure even more exclusives for its growing library.
