Recently, Gintama announced a new project called 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei. According to the post made by Manga Mogura RE, the anime will release in October 2025. Presently, there isn't an exact release date, but one should be announced sometime next year.

What Is 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei About

Based on the description available, 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei is a Gintama spin-off that puts the cast in a high school with Sakata Gintoki as the teacher. A new visual for the 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei was also released, which can be found below.

The visual features Sakata Gintoki in his regular clothes and his new teaching attire. Since it's still too early, fans should expect the anime to release more key visuals, trailers, and even teasers. It has also been confirmed that the anime will be produced by BN Pictures. 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei is based on the novel of the same name that was released in 2005.

Gintama is based on the manga of the same name written by Hideaki Sorachi. It began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2003. Gintama came to an end in June 2019. The manga has released over 70 volumes to date. When it comes to sales, the manga has sold over 55 million copies.
