As HoYoverse has previously teased, Genshin Impact's Nod-Krai chapter will set the stage for the Snezhnaya Archon Quest. To give players a first look at what's to come in Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact has been updating the Song of the Welkin Moon, a web event that gradually shares lore pieces about the region. The event was expected to be updated one final time on April 30, but the day before, the developers announced a special livestream that would delve deeper into the development of Nod-Krai. The broadcast also gave players a surprise gift in the form of redeemable codes.

On April 29, Genshin Impact announced its "Let's Start With Nod-Krai" livestream and shared five redeem codes for 30 Primogems each. This adds up to 350 free Primogems for players to claim, which is slightly more than previous Genshin Impact livestream rewards. As confirmed by HoYoverse, these new codes will expire on May 3, so fans should try to redeem them as soon as possible.

Moreover, one code seemingly confirms Nod-Krai's release date for September 10, which coincides with earlier leaks about Genshin Impact Version 6.0's release window. While Nod-Krai is located in southern Snezhnaya, it won't be entirely focused on the Cryo nation's Archon, but rather on tying up loose ends regarding other Teyvat mysteries. There are rumors that the Nod-Krai story arc might take up to a year to conclude, which suggests that Snezhnaya could arrive as late as Version 7.0.
Although Nod-Krai is still months away, Genshin Impact has other big plans in store for players with its upcoming 5.6 update. Not only will Genshin Impact add new characters, but the game will also launch a new Archon Quest centered around Mondstadt, specifically on Albedo's lore. The update will also feature the long-awaited in-game debut of Dahlia, and the first voiced cameo of Varka.
