While some have early access to NBCUniversal's new streaming service Peacock, most will have to wait until its global launch date of Wednesday, July 15, 2020 to check it out. But with so many other streaming services currently available, people need to know exactly what the NBC Peacock streaming service will bring to the table before they decide to sign up.

The Peacock price is $4.99 for the version with ads, or $9.99 for the version without ads. Comcast subscriber s will be able to get the ad-free version of Peacock at a discount, paying just $5 to stream Peacock with no ads.

The NBC Peacock streaming service is launching with some big heavy hitters, but there are some notable absences. For example, the Fast and the Furious franchise is nowhere to be seen, and neither is The Office. However, both The Office and the Fast and the Furious franchise will be coming to Peacock down the line, once the streaming rights to the franchises have expired elsewhere.

NBC Peacock launches on July 15.
