The Uzumaki clan is one of the very strongest clans to ever exist in the world of Naruto. Originally hailing from the land of Eddies, the Uzumaki clan is a unique bunch known to specialize in Sealing Jutsu. They are also known to have incredibly huge chakra reserves, thanks to their connections to those of the Senju.

In a way, the Uzumaki Clan are descendants of the Sage's youngest child, Asura Otsutsuki. Over the years, the Naruto series has seen the introduction of several powerful Uzumaki clan members, however, not all of them possess similar strength.

8 Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki is, by far, the weakest member of the Uzumaki clan right now. She is the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga. Although she is weak right now, as is expected of someone her age, she actually possesses tremendous potential.

This was confirmed in the Boruto manga, where Daemon hints that Himawari already possesses incredible powers within her that she has not awakened yet. Out of the many characters around him, Daemon specifically points out Himawari to be the only one capable of fighting him.

7 Karin

Karin is one of the most prevalent characters in the Naruto series. She served under Orochimaru for quite a long time, however, after his death, she became a member of Sasuke's Team Taka. Karin specializes in Medical Ninjutsu and, at the same time, she also has incredible sensory prowess which only a handful of characters in the world of Naruto can match.

Karin also possesses a tremendous amount of chakra. In the 4th Great Ninja War, fans also saw her awaken Adamantine Chains, which is an ability that only awakens among some Uzumaki women.

6 Ashina Uzumaki

Ashina Uzumaki was the clan leader of the Uzumaki Clan at one point before its eventual destruction. He is known to have a very close relationship with Hashirama Senju, and the First Hokage actually sought him out on many occasions due to his immense prowess when it comes to sealing techniques.

Little is known about Ashina Uzumaki, however, he was likely one of the strongest characters in the story during his own era. Sadly, fans will never get to see what level of strength he truly possessed. Nonetheless, the many Jutsu that he used and studied were eventually passed on and mastered by others.

5 Mito Uzumaki

Mito Uzumaki was the wife of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. Being a member of the Uzumaki Clan, Mito possessed tremendous chakra reserves and vitality. At the same time, she also had a Byakugou on her head, with signifies mastery of medical ninjutsu, however, whether this was the case with her or not remains confirmed.

Nonetheless, Mito was the Jinchuriki of Kurama at one point and this automatically makes a tremendously powerful. While she could not harness the full powers of the beast, she was still strong enough to seal it within herself, which is nothing short of staggering.

4 Kushina Uzumaki

Kushina Uzumaki is a very important character in the overarching plot of Naruto, even though she isn't alive when the story begins. Kushina is the mother of Naruto and the wife of Minato. With the aim of becoming Hokage, Kushina joined the Konoha Academy after she was brought to be made the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails.

She was a very fierce Kunoichi, as was confirmed by characters such as Jiraiya and Tsunade. As a Jinchuriki, she naturally possessed powers that could bring about great destruction. While Kushina did not have mastery over Kurama's powers, she still had tremendous strength. Her vitality was nothing short of incredible and even after having the nine tails removed from her, she was able to withstand it and survive for quite a while. In comparison, Naruto immediately passed out and was about to die when Kurama was extracted from him. Kushina could also use Adamantine Chains strong enough to hold down the entirety of Kurama, even though it was just moments after the beast was extracted from her. It goes without saying that she's one of the strongest ninjas to have ever lived in the Naruto world.

3 Nagato Uzumaki

Nagato Uzumaki was born in Amegakure and is one of the strongest members of the Uzumaki Clan to ever appear in the story. At some point, Madara Uchiha implanted his Rinnegan into Nagato, and, since he was a member of the Uzumaki Clan, he could handle the burden of the eyes. Nagato grew to master the Rinnegan to an immense degree. He became the leader of the Akatsuki and displayed enough power to destroy entire villages and lay waste to countries.

Even though he was severely weakened, Nagato put up an admirable fight against Naruto. When in his prime, he could easily take on two Perfect Jinchuriki at the same time and that goes to show how dangerous he truly was.

2 Boruto Uzumaki

Boruto Uzumaki is the son of Naruto and also one of the strongest members of the Uzumaki Clan. Although he doesn't seem to have the huge chakra reserves that usually come with the use Uzumaki bloodline, he certainly does have the Otsutsuki powers within himself.

At the same time, he is the vessel of Momoshiki, and has become a complete Otsutsuki at this point in time. As such, he is extremely powerful right now and easily the second-strongest Uzumaki of all time.

It goes without saying that Naruto Uzumaki is the strongest member of the Uzumaki Clan to have ever lived. Naruto possessed tremendous amounts of chakra in his prime, he was strong enough to overpower even the Otsutsuki beings as strong as Isshiki. Naruto completely mastered the powers of Kurama and even gained the ability to use Six Paths Sage Mode.

In Boruto, he ascended to the next level by using Baryon Mode, however, the usage of this ability led to the death of Kurama. Nonetheless, Naruto remains to be the strongest of all the Uzumaki characters to have appeared in the franchise.
