It seems likely that anime lovers and gamers believe that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is one of the best anime games on the market. After all, it is a good fighting game with or without the anime influence that launched to good reviews and sales, surpassing the previous installments in the series. Now, the first three games of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm  series will be coming to Nintendo Switch.

While many gamers may be clamoring to return to the fighting franchise on the portable console, it is noteworthy that the Switch version is currently only confirmed for Japan. However, neither a release window nor a price was announced, meaning that Bandai Namco still has time to reveal a western release. The franchise was popular enough in the West that this seems somewhat likely. After all, its release would mean that western gamers would be able to play from the beginning of Shippuden through the 4th Great Ninja War on the Switch.

It is also noteworthy that previously released DLC will be included in the trilogy, perhaps suggesting a full retail price for the Switch release. While its price is still unknown, it seems that fighting games on the Nintendo Switch are a trending movement. Currently, rumors suggest that Super Smash Bros. Could be coming to the Nintendo Switch, meaning that the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy may be joining Super Smash Bros. As a fighting game on the popular Nintendo console.

It remains to be seen if either game could reach the acclaim that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has, but with the continuing popularity of the Switch, anything is possible. For now, gamers will have to wait to see if the Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy ports over well…and outside of Japan.

The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will release for the Nintendo Switch on an unspecified date.
