Sasuke Uchiha is the deuteragonist of Naruto, making him one of the most important characters in the story. As a result, Kishimoto always made sure to include him in every possible arc so that Naruto fans could get to know him better. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke was obsessed with power, and he was chasing it all the time. But he did have a solid reason—avenging his clan.

Sasuke's desire led him to leave the Hidden Leaf and go to Orochimaru. After the latter led him astray with the promise of great strength. Despite staying with Orochimaru for a couple of years, Sasuke's desire to grow stronger didn't stop. So, he killed Orochimaru and left to pursue Itachi Uchiha.

As a member of the famed Uchiha Clan, it's hardly surprising that Sasuke's Sharingan is one of the strongest weapons in his locker. He awakened the regular version of the Sharingan when he was still a kid, and he utilized it in almost every fight. Sasuke finally awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan after witnessing Itachi's death. But unlike his brother, Sasuke did not have two different types of techniques. Instead, Sasuke had Amaterasu in one eye and the ability to manipulate the flames in the other. This gave him more control over Amaterasu, allowing him to shape the black flames into any form he desired.

However, Sasuke knew that he couldn't overuse his Mangekyou Sharingan, as it would lead to complete blindness. So, he asked Obito to implant Itachi's eyes into his own. Upon obtaining the new set of eyes, Sasuke could use his unique Mangekyou Sharingan abilities freely and without any severe drawback.
Sasuke's Susanoo Gave Him Absolute Defense
As Sasuke possessed two Mangekyou Sharingan, he had access to the Susanoo. While it did not have any ethereal weapons like the Yata Mirror or the Totsuka Blade, the Susanoo could still very easily flatten mountains with its strength. Aside from having the strength to tussle with a tailed beast, Sasuke's Susanoo also enhanced his defenses. Most ninjas in the series couldn't even dream of piercing its defenses, so Sasuke didn't have to worry too much. However, it couldn't protect Sasuke from the attacks of a Kage-level ninja.
Sasuke's Rinnegan Is Extremely Overpowered
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke obtained the Rinnegan after a lengthy conversation with Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Sasuke's Rinnegan granted him access to all six paths, meaning he could use them freely without any significant restriction. Sasuke used the Planetary Devastation on the tailed beasts to stop them from interfering in his fight with Naruto. Furthermore, he stole chakra from them to create a potent attack called Indra's Arrow that was strong enough to nullify Naruto's most powerful technique.

Aside from the regular abilities, Sasuke's Rinnegan also had a special power that allowed him to use Amenotejikara, a space-time ninjutsu with which he could switch places with an object or a person instantly. What made the ability dangerous is that it almost always succeeded in bypassing the defenses of enemies. They could be far away one minute and then immediately drawn close for an attack in the next. The Amnetojikara can also be utilized to set up surprise attacks. In the fight against Momoshiki, Sasuke used the ability to catch Momoshiki off guard and enable Naruto Uzumaki to land a clean hit on the Otsutsuki. Sasuke also used the Rinnegan to cast a Genjutsu so powerful that none of the tailed beasts could break free from it.
Sasuke's Intelligence Makes Him Dangerous

Sasuke's abilities put him in a different league from most Naruto characters, but his strongest asset is his intelligence. When he was still a kid, Sasuke already showed signs of high intelect. Sasuke had almost no trouble learning any kind of jutsu. He even managed to learn to use Chidori in just a few days. Sasuke also mastered the use of the Rinnegan in just a few years of obtaining it. Considering it was a completely new Dojutsu, any other person would have taken weeks to master it.
Another piece of evidence of Sasuke's ingenuity came in the fight against Deidara. When the latter created microscopic bombs and sent them into Sasuke's body, the Uchiha immediately found a way to diffuse them all with the Lightning Release. While Sasuke has been involved in Boruto, he has been mistreated by Ikemoto. The author of the story seems to have some kind of vendetta against Sasuke and Naruto. Not only has he nerfed them badly, but they have been taken out of the story like a fly out of the soup.
