Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has delivered a ton of exciting content to the fans so far, including some high-octane fights featuring the next generation characters, such as Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and even Kawaki. However, one thing the series still lacks is more involvement from the protagonist of the predecessor series, Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto's sealing was carried out by none other than Kawaki, his adoptive son. While this makes Kawaki a sort of villain, fans know that the main reason why he did this was simply because he wanted to protect Naruto Uzumaki from all the Otsutsuki, especially after the loss of Kurama.

With Naruto sealed away, fans know very well that, at the very least, he is still alive. But, when exactly he'll return remains unknown. That said, Naruto will eventually make a return, and that goes without saying. Unfortunately, Kishimoto has already confirmed that it won't be anytime soon, because in order for him to return, Kawaki and Boruto will have to fight first, and it doesn't seem like they're anywhere close to fighting their battles right now.

While Naruto is nowhere near returning at the moment, it matters little, because he won't die and eventually, will have to make a return. If the Boruto series continues after his return, then, Naruto, after years of inactivity, will have to step up and the authors know that as well. In this case, Naruto Uzumaki would need a new power-up, now that Kurama is with his daughter, Himawari Uzumaki.

Kurama Could Be Replaced By The Ten-Tails
Although Kurama is gone, it isn't the only Tailed Beast that exists in the world of Boruto. As fans know, the Ten Tails is still very much active, although right now, it has been divided into the Shinju. As fans know, Tailed Beasts don't die. Eventually, the Ten Tails will have to be dealt with, and the best way to do that would be for someone to become its Jinchuriki. This person could be the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Fans would love this move, as it would give Naruto a big power-up, and make him more relevant in the story, and at the same time, it would make it feel like Naruto Uzumaki is the second coming of the Sage of Six Paths.
